About the site

  Uucyc.ru (Uucyc looks like Jesus in Russian) is a Christian resource web site that is one of a very select few directed to the Russian speaking people (400 million world wide).

  As you can see this site is in Russian language only! One of the major reasons is that there are many English Christian sites (like http://reachout.gospelcom.net) while there is a great lack of such sites in Russian language!

  The idea of making this site came at the xUSSR Youth Leader Conference. The conference took place in Moscow, Russia in October 2000.
   110+ Christian workers agreed that there is a big lack for Christian resources in Russian language! 60% of them had Internet Access. God gave me an idea to collect all collectable resources so many for the Glory of God could use them!

  The site consist of many quality resources, such as: sermons, illustrations, stories, quotes, jokes, games and other good things that might be useful for pastors, youth leaders, Sunday school teachers, camps leaders and many other church workers!

  We made a research on who our visitors were.
  300 of them answered the question and here are the results:
  28% - are different leaders, such as Sunday School leaders;
  25% - are youth leaders;
  18% - are lay members;
  13% - are unbelievers;
  11% - are pastors of the churches;
  5% - are deacons!
  As you see, the audience is really different! And that's NO wonder! - the site has interesting resources for each of the categories!

  In 3,5 year of our existence we already had more than 1,5 million visitors! In the beginning of the year 2004 daily average number of visitors were 2000 visitors (20,000+ hits daily)!" You can see present statistic and logs here.

Help needed

  Russian Christian sites are often a target of the hacker attacks. Our site was recently turned off because of the Service Denial Attack. Please pray for God's protection of this ministry (Ex. 34:24).
